AEB: Russia’s new car, LCV sales fall 59.6% to 46,698 in Sep

MOSCOW, Oct 6 (PRIME) -- Russia’s sales of new cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) plummeted by 59.6% on the year to 46,698 in September, the Association of European Businesses (AEB) said in a statement on Thursday.

In January–September, sales of new cars and LCVs in Russia dropped by 59.8% to 506,661 vehicles, the association said.

The sales of Lada cars by car producer AvtoVAZ grew by 20% on the year to 20,641 units in September but dropped by 54% to 123,765 cars in January–September, the AEB also said.
